Dark Horse: Jones
Hargitay and Sedgwick are out. Love Sedgwick and her show but I don't think its academys fav. Again, Britton is a surprise and could pull off an upset. To me, there isnt a leading lady in Mad Men, its all supporting, but they love the show and Jones has been over looked even in the supp race before so they might try to make up for that with a win here. That leaves Close and Margulies. Close has won a couple Emmys for the show already and they love her, plus shes a star! But this year they will honor Margulies. Its the hit drama of the year and shes won all the lead up awards and the show is well liked.

I'm a Kyra fan, but then I haven't watched all of the others. I think Kyra's show was stronger when it first came out; has kind of degraded into the typical cop drama now...
ReplyDeleteFrom my very limited perspective (commercials) The Good Wife does look like an interesting, well written show with a different angle and Margulies deserves recognition.
